CIP Capital Completes Investment In ALC, Inc.
CIP Capital has completed an investment in ALC, Inc. ("ALC" or the "Company"), a leading provider of innovative marketing data solutions that enable sophisticated multi-channel marketing campaigns for a diverse base of blue-chip clients. The Company was founded in 1978 by Donn Rappaport and is an industry-leading provider of customized lists, digital audience data and strategic advisory services. ALC’s launch of identity resolution solutions has transitioned the company from a leading offline data provider to a next-generation digital data solutions business. The Company is headquartered in Princeton, New Jersey and has 10 locations throughout the US.
ALC has also appointed Rick Erwin as Chief Executive Officer. Rick has over two decades of experience driving strategy, growth and profitability of data solutions for leading providers across the traditional and digital marketing industries. Rick was most recently co-president of Acxiom Marketing Solutions and president of Acxiom's Audience Solutions division since 2015. During his tenure, he led the turnaround and growth of Acxiom's data and identity businesses, and their expansion into the digital media ecosystem. In October 2018, Acxiom Marketing Solutions was acquired by Interpublic Group for $2.3 billion. Prior to Acxiom, Rick was president of the data and identity business at Experian Marketing Services and served in various senior management roles at RR Donnelley.
